GraphiX club of IT Department has organized a hands on session for developing a 3D portfolio website using JavaScript in visual studio.Pranav Moghe and Krushna Nagare TE IT students demonstrated how to design portfolio website in order to improve or create own portfolio. Members of Graphix club attended the session keenly.

GraphiX club Department of IT has organized a hands on session for Concept based POWTOON (Animated) Video making for SE IT students. This activity was organized under Graphix Club IT department faculty member Mrs.Bhavna Chaudhari Ass.Proff. The IT Department has sessions. Topics covered through Activity were Object oriented programming concepts and Java Programming Basic concepts. On the scheduled date, all teams present their ideas and course concepts and share their experience of video making activity.

The GraphiX Club of the Department of Information Technology had organized a session on "Creating Animation clips using animation Tool "on 5 June 2001 from 1.00pm to 2:00 pm. The program commenced with an introduction to GraphIX Club to all the students. After the introduction, our speaker Mr. Vedant Tapadiya TE IT student gave us a brief introduction of the Adobe Animate tool. He briefed all about the uses of the Adobe animate for various purposes like design vector graphics and animation for television series, online animation, websites, web applications, rich web applications, game development, commercials, and other etc. Then she demonstrated us the functionalities and features of Adobe Animate and also the students were asked to implement as well as explore the tool.

The GraphiX Club of the Department of Information Technology had organized a session on “INTRODUCTION TO GAME ENGINES “on 8th September 2021 from 11.00am to 12.00 pm. The program commenced with an introduction to GraphIX Club to all the students. After the introduction, our speaker Mr. Sagar Yadav, Senior Engineer, CarIQ Tech Pvt Ltd, Pune gave us a brief introduction of the Some Game engines such as unity and p5. He briefed us about the uses of the p5 editor for various purposes like writing simple scripts for games etc. Then he demonstrated the functionalities and features of p5.The students were asked to implement as well as explore the tool. The session was concluded by appreciating the speaker Mr.Sagar Yadav, respected HOD Dr. Prof. Mrs. Sarita Deshpande, activity coordinator Ms. Poonam Rakibe, and to all the participants who attended the workshop.

The GraphiX Club of the Department of Information Technology had organized a session on “USAGE OF GRAPHICS DESIGN TOOL: CANVA ”on 14th October 2020 from 3.00pm to 4.00 pm. The program commenced with an introduction to GraphIX Club to all the students. After the introduction, our speaker Mrs. Aditi Metkar,BE IT student gave us a brief introduction of the Graphics design tool : Canva. She briefed us about the uses of the Canva tool for various purposes like creating presentations, flyers, leaflets, logos, Instagram posts, etc. Then she demonstrated us the functionalities and features of Canva. The students were asked to implement as well as explore the tool. At the end of the workshop students were given a task to create a logo/s for Teachers’ YouTube channels.

The GraphiX Club of the Department of Information technology has organized a session on “Online Quiz on Basics of Computer graphics” to test knowledge of students on Basics of computer graphics. The Students were invited to join the google meet in order to take the online quiz. The session commenced with an introduction of the session and motive of this online quiz. Later the link for the online quiz was provided to the students in google meet. At the end of the quiz the students passing with a score of 70% or higher were provided certificates for the online quiz, delivered to each through mail.

Department of Information technology has organized a session on “Graphics Design And Application Development: Explore Your Creativity” to provide knowledge to students to explore knowledge in computer graphics. Guest speaker Mr. Yadnesh Kulkarni started the session and briefed about Virtual Pipeline & OpenGL backend functioning & all basics needed for graphics programming. Then he explained about Computer graphics and Its importance in the coming years. Also he had shown demos of his projects. After that he executed the one3D cube rotation program and had taken hands-on work on it from students. Our second Guest speaker Mr. Gaurav had explained to students about OpenGL& took some of the sample assignments for students.

This session was conducted by Mr. Pratik Tarale from Smart Art technology. Main aim was to give an introduction about job opportunities in the graphics industry and discussion on internships available with the company. Interested students can contact Mr. Pratik in his office, based on students' understanding and knowledge they will offer internships to the student.

Department of IT organized a seminar by Mr. Atharva Pathak who is working in IUCCA, pune. His area of interest is Computer graphics programming. Session was started with the welcome of guests. Then the speaker briefed the concepts of Computer Graphics. He also gave knowledge of other fields of computer graphics. This session was beneficial for students to learn concepts of some modern tools or applications like Maya Studio. In this session the speaker explained some internal concepts with 3D objects and also explained how to install these apps. And how to work on it.Speaker shared views regarding his personal experience. Students actively participated in the session and discussed their queries with the speaker. Then the speaker answered queries and gave various examples.

Department of Information Technology of Modern College of Engineering Pune-05, organized a session on Poster design in CorelDraw under GraphIX club. The session was conducted by Mr. Suraj Patil who is a student of BE (IT). The session started by introducing CorelDraw and then the speaker gave some demo of poster making with CorelDraw. Speaker explained all concepts very well. Overall experience was good and students enthusiastically participated in this session through questions and answering sessions. Session was really nice.

This session was so helpful for students to enhance their skills in Photoshop. Speaker gave a demo of Photoshop as well as he explained the different menus in photoshop.

Department of Information Technology of Modern College of Engineering Pune-05, organized a workshop “Web Development with PHP” on 12 October 2017 for students of second, third and final year. At the start of session speakers gave the knowledge of Website development. Students were learnt so many things like Wordpress, Bootstrap and PHP from this workshop.

This club was inaugurated by Dr. Nilesh Uke (Professor Information Technology Department of PCCOE, Pune). He gave some knowledge of Graphics and Animation.
