Ṛtaṃ – MCOE Astronomy and Astrophysics Club aims to foster curiosity, knowledge, and innovation in Astronomy and Astrophysics among BTech students. The club provides a platform for members to explore diverse domains, including theoretical and observational astrophysics, computational astrophysics, modern astronomy, and ancient Indian astronomy.
Through discussions, projects, workshops, observational activities, and research-oriented activities, students develop a deeper understanding of the universe while applying engineering principles to real-world scientific challenges. Ṛtaṃ seeks to highlight the significance of astronomy and space technology and demonstrate how engineering students can actively contribute to advancements in these fields.
We have strong ties with premier Astronomy and Astrophysics Institutions like IUCAA, Pune, through guided projects such as telescope-making, and are a member of the highly acclaimed Astro Clubs of Pune (ACP) association. Through ACP, we have collaborated with many other Astronomy clubs of Science and Engineering Colleges of Pune.
