About Us
Established in year 2011.
Robotics Club is group of students from E&TC and Mechanical engineering, who have keen interest in robotics. Each member of this club is given the knowledge of basic
mechanical, electronics & embedded system. They are also provided with fully equipped Robotics Lab where students can build their ideas under the guidance of experienced club members.
Club supports and fosters interest in various aspects related to robotics in particular, mechanical design through workshops, tutorials, lectures and projects.
Every year club members including staff participate in various national and international competitions and bring laurels to the institute.
Vision of the club
To Provide knowledge from interdisciplinary domain like mechanical, electronics & embedded systems and to motivate the students and faculty for participation in various robotics competitions by providing a platform through e-Yantra lab setup Initiative (eLSI) supported by IIT Bombay, sponsored by (MHRD).

Outcome : Students from different departments have improved their technical knowledge, leadership qualities and team spirit. This will help them in future.
Summary Report : Robocon is an International event. Students from various engineering colleges of 16 countries participate in this event to become International Level Robotics Champions. The National winner of each country represents their country at the international level.
The National Robocon in India was scheduled from 3rd to the 5th of March, 2017 at Chatrapati Shivaji Stadium, Balewadi. 105 teams from all over India has participated to achieve the same goal. We cleared the Superleague round in which 24 teams were selected out of the 120 participating teams. Then we went on to the quarterfinals in which top 8 were selected out of 24. We acquired 5th Rank in the competition in the Finals out of 120 participating teams from various parts of India. The quarterfinals was shown live on Doordarshan Television Network.

Objectives : - To introduce the students about working, Manufacturing, and design of line tracing robot.

The GraphiX club is an initiative take by PES’s MODERN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, to incorporate students from all departments to develop a common platform for development in computer graphics & Animation. In this club students are able to be trained and widen new ideas with different tools and platforms.This club is inaugurated by Prof.Nilesh Uke(Professor,PCCOE)& Mrs.S.D.Deshpande ,IT Head on Wednesday,11/01/2017 in presence of all students and faculty members.This club will introduce students to the world of computer Graphics to create magic. Cypher club is established in the academic year 2016-17. In today’s cyber world, it is important for every person to comprehend data, information, computer and network security as it has grown to be a necessary aspects of our daily lives.

To spread knowledge and awareness about cyber security concepts , ethics and regulation.

Objectives : - To elaborate concepts of Information Security. -To make student familiar with various concepts of information security -To get acquainted with current openings in network security.
Outcome: Students got idea about how the information has been sent via secure channel in day-to-day operations. The session also helped to enhance the knowledge about issue in networking with respect to information and precaution to be taken.
Summary Report: Mr. Swapnil is an experienced person in information security management in networking. The topic he covered was about Information Security, types of attack, Cryptographic algorithms, different protocols and Secure Socket Layer.

- To introduce to new terms and trends in cyber crimes

Outcome: Student come to know about different types of crimes in cyber world. Student also understood what are penalties associated with these crimes.
Summary Report: This session was arranged for all SY & TY MCA students, to get acquainted with various cyber-crimes which are taking place current and precautionary measures to be taken. Mr. Nawal started his lecture with various types of cyber-crime viz. Phishing, Banking or Financial or Card fraud (Skimming, Online transaction fraud) , Morphing, ID theft ,Cyber Warfare, Cyber Terrorism etc. by giving various examples. Also he explained regarding its safeguard. Further he shared career options with this field like Cyber Forensics Analyst, Security Operations Analyst , Security Engineer, Security Architect, Network Security Architect and ethical hacker with its types too.
